Last week Serina and I attempted to make the kinect work on PC after dicussing my issues with Joe and his suggestion of switching OS’s. This did not work so I have officially nailed the coffin on the kinect.
Therefore I am moving forward with Plan B. A more direct way for the audience to interact with the image and the projector: a button.
Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Technology-NA16029-Multimedia-Controller/dp/B003VWU2WA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1448231327&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+button
Audience members will walk up to a small podium (see diagram) and read the sign (see sign below) and decide whether or not they want to click the button. If they do click then the videos will advance through the progression of the animation as the nature becomes more and more deteriorated. After all the animations have sequenced through the final image (see below) will appear. Upon one more click the series will restart.
